Are Assisted Living fees covered by insurance?
Assisted Living is a private pay service, so residents are responsible for these charges. Some long-term care insurance policies will cover some of these fees. Verify coverage with your insurance provider.
Are Nursing Care fees covered by insurance?
Most insurance plans, including Medicare, cover a portion of room and board fees for no more than 100 days based on medical need. Thereafter the resident must either pay privately or cover charges through Medicaid. Verify coverage with your insurance provider.
Are utilities included in the Independent Living fees?
Residents pay their own utilities with the exception of gas and water, which is included.
What if my needs change while I’m living at Sanctuary at Bellbrook?
Sanctuary at Bellbrook is a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC). This means that there are various living environments ranging from Independent condominiums and apartments, Assisted Living apartments, Memory Care and Nursing Care that are located on our campus. We also offer Rehabilitation services. If your needs change, your home doesn’t have to.
Are phone and cable TV service available?
Each room is phone and cable-ready. A small monthly fee is charged for phone service. Residents are responsible for setting up and paying for the cable services.
Do I have to be Catholic to live at Sanctuary at Bellbrook?
No. We welcome residents of all faiths.
If I’m an Independent Living resident, do I have to purchase a meal plan?
You do not have to purchase a meal plan or a minimum number of meals. You have the flexibility of preparing meals in your fully equipped kitchen, or you can purchase meals in the Oakglen Restaurant or Parkside Deli.
Can I bring my pet with me to Sanctuary at Bellbrook?
Small, well-behaved dogs and cats are welcome in our Independent Living apartments (subject to management approval).
Can family members dine with residents?
Yes. Guests are welcome to dine in the Oakglen Restaurant and Parkside Deli. Family members often enjoy Sunday Brunch together at Sanctuary at Bellbrook.
Can you help accommodate my loved one as their needs change?
Absolutely. Residents may move within our community from Independent Living to Assisted Living, Nursing Care or Memory Care according to their medical needs. Rehabilitation Services are also available.
What are the visiting hours?
Our residents can welcome guests at any time.
Are there any age requirements to live at Sanctuary at Bellbrook?
Residents in our Assisted Living and Independent Living apartments and condos must be 62 or older.
